Fiberglass Mat, also known as Chopped Strand Mat or CSM, is a non-woven material typically used for build-up. It consists of glass fibers laid randomly across each other and held together by a styrene binder.

Note: Fiberglass mat is not compatible with epoxy resin systems. Instead, use polyester resin systems to wet out this type of material. This is because polyester resins break down the styrene binder, allowing fibers to become completely saturated.

3/4 oz.     Build thickness, lays tighter to surface without trapping air.

2 oz.         Adds bulk quickly easy to layer. Also great as a an first layer.
